The SD Division Team is a sustainability advocate offering suggestions and recommendations to the public and private sectors. The Team is highly qualified and experienced in undertaking SD-related challenges.
It is well aware of the problems and challenges facing developing countries and their public and private sector establishment in fulfilling the goals, objectives, and targets of SD, including the United Nations 17 SD Goals of 2015, with their existing limited resources.
In general, the Team is responsible for the following:
○ Promoting relevant and sound knowledge of sustainable development’s elements and components among public and private sectors agencies
○ Assisting public and private sectors in the promotion of their sustainable development process and ensuring its success
○ Encouraging and assisting public and private sectors in formulating their capacity building and development for sustainable development at the local, national, regional, and international levels
○ Facilitating investment in and finance for newly evolving SD programmes and projects for public and private sectors
○ Integrating sustainability within the Global Group UK, with tasks ranging from strategic planning to day-to-day implementation
